Chevron Chic

There are so many great fabrics out there that work when trying to blend modern with traditional. The new fabric print for me, that I would love to include in our home is... Chevron! I love the modern simplicity of the zigzag lines, and the color options are endless! I have seen chevron in so many unique ways: pillows, drapery, rugs and furniture! I cannot wait to include chevron in my own home! I plan to start with pillows, and I have my new source on etsy- this little home. When searching through etsy's site for some chevron inspiration, I came across this wonderful shop! This little home has beautiful chevron pillows, curtains and many other chic designs at fabulous prices! I am thinking about the light blue/white chevron pillows- but there are so many other color options to choose from! Here are a few photos from her site, which she graciously let me share with all of you. (Thank you!) Also included, are some other fabulous ways to include chevron in your home, sourced from two amazing online magazines! Enjoy!

This last pillow is my favorite and would work well in our home. And chevron curtains... how amazing would that be? The above 3 are all from This Little Home.

Chevron on furniture... I am in love! From Lonny. Designed by Laura Day.

What do you think of Chevron? How would it fit into your home?

I love chevron. I HAVE to use it some where. I think it will freshen up my son's pale paisley bed spread. Great inspiration, as usual.

Oh, this reminds me of the Missoni scarf I had around my neck, then in my cart, then around my neck again but eventually put back on the shelf...at a TJMaxx tonight. I was shopping for a show and the price tag was high for a TJs, $74.99.... but as if I wasn't already having regrets, I now read your post. Maybe it will still be there tomorrow...I could always use it as a runner on a table and write it off!

I love anything chevron! I want to add this pattern to my house somewhere too. I was thinking about the home office, bedroom or mudroom.

I love chevron! It is such an easy pattern to mix with everything. It seems to be everywhere and I hope it stays around for a while.

Never knew the zig zags were called chevron. Love the interior with the all the blue, so fun when you're having dinner.

I love chevron in all sizes and colors, but the large one above is just fantastic!

I happen to like chevron more in accents than on furniture though I have seen it used very successfully in furniture as well. In my home, I am not sure it would work but I would definitely consider using it in my home office..and doing something a little fresher, less traditional, more fun with crisp sharp colors..I love the look!
Thanks for stopping by my blog and your lovely comments...have a great weekend!

I belong to chevron anonymous! SO much in my house I'm having to restrain myself.
